Question 1:
How do you feel about how the players on the Negro League were treated?

I feel that it is not right that they were treated like that. I would not want to be in the Negro League. Because they were treated bad. It was not fair that they had to sleep in the park. It was not fair that they had to drink from different water fountains. It is not fair that that were booed when they waik out on the field.

I feel mad about how they where treated back then because they were black.

I feel like it was unfair for the Negro players. Because they didn’t get any money.

I felt unfair like Jackie Rodinson. I felt unfair because I would waet to be paid equally like whites.

I feel sad, mad, and bad inside of me I am feeling bad because it is very mean.

I feel very very very very very bad for the Negro league. The Negro league should be payed more then the white players.

I feel that the Negro league players were treated very, very bad. I think the Negro league players are just as good as Major league players. I have read about people as good or even better Than Babe Ruth. I’m not saying Babe Ruth is bad.

I feel that they were treated bad becase they had to sleep on the bus.

I feel real real mad about this. I feel this way because they had to sleep in buses.

I feel like it was unfair that they had to be in separate leagues and called named because you should treat others the way you want to be treated.

I feel sorry for them. I think they should be treated like every other man in the world.

I feel mad, not very happy, sorry for them, and they weren’t treted very nice. Becase they aren’t treated very well.

I feel that they sould of let Negro players play in the Majer league.

I feel that The blak pepel shed have got paid more.

I feel bad. Because it is not nice to treat them like that.

I really really wish they were treated the same as us. Whites were very selfish back then.

I feel they were mean because the white players could be cind and the brain players could get the white players ??? they were so nice.

Question 2:
After we learned how Negro Baseball players were treated what would you have done to try and make a difference?

I would have it be a lol that they woud havet to lot blak people in.

I would tell the government give them money. I would give them a nice car. I would give them a home with beds.

I would tell them "you guys are just alike.’ They are alike anyway.

I would fight for freedom. If they don’t agree I will still try again.

Talk to the government about nigroleages. Change the rules for baseball.

I would chaege the rlues. I would let them play together.

I would try to be voted for prestent. Then I would chang the law. Then black and white would play together. If anyone would break the law I would arrest them and put them in Jail for about 9-10 years.

Pote a stop to it be letting blak and with play together.

If were Presdint I would say that the black people could play with white people

I would saveup enough money for along time and over rule the manjor leagues with money

I would ask the Negro Leagues how they felt. Then I would tell the white players how the Negro Leagues felt.

Give them money. Cook for them, five the lunches for on the road, and give them books to read on the road.

I would give them mony, a perfect bat.

Give them a brend new hous do not mak them pay nothing for 3 years!!

I would tell how nice they are. And how much guts they had to play

I would of done is I would of stand up and try to make a difference I would of done is a speech we should not fight we should be in peace.

I would do many many speeches until the whites listned. Even though I am white I would stand up for the blacks.

I would give them money cause they were pore.
