Connie Johnson tells what it was like when he hit his first curve ball, the treatment in America vs. Cuba, and about black baseball in general. He states how well educated the other players are and the conditions they had to live in/with.

Warren Paige says what it’s like to live with a huge family with very little money. He talks about the school shootings now and racism. Warren says how his father, Satchel Paige, was discovered and how great Satchel was.

Georgia Dwight states how segregation was in Kansas City and in Iowa. She tells what it was like to travel with the Monarchs and what it was like to visit her husband, Eddie Dwight, in jail. Georgia also reveals some false information about married Monarchs.
