Licensed Applicants:If you decide to submit an on-line application, please review all the information on the PDF Printable Application first to see what information we are seeking before starting the on-line process. The application program does not have a “save and return” feature. Select the licensed application and complete the application as thoroughly as possible. The application will be electronically sent to the district.
In addition to the application, all applicants are requested to submit a cover letter, resume, and a credential file. If a credential file is not available, a minimum of three references and copies of all college transcripts will be required. Transcripts for the application process do not have to be official; however, official transcripts must be provided upon employment. Any additional information that you feel is important (i.e., portfolio, lesson plans, awards, etc.) may be submitted. Please do not provide personal data such as age, race, and sex.
Classified Applicants:Applicants interested in positions such as paraprofessionals, teacher aides, food service, custodial, secretarial, etc. should select the classified application and complete the application as thoroughly as possible. The application will be electronically sent to the district. Applicants also have the option to copy the application form and mail it to the district, or request an application by calling Human Resources at 913-592-7200.
Substitute Applicants:Applicants interested in substituting should complete the substitute application as thoroughly as possible. The application will be electronically sent to the district.

Individuals who are currently licensed in the State of Kansas or who qualify for an emergency substitute teaching license (minimum of 60 college hours) will be considered for employment. Additional information can be found at the K.S.D.E web site or by calling the Human Resources office.
