Performances
Music is an integral part of the total school curriculum. Children who possess musical knowledge and skills are better prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities that await them in an ever-changing, multi-cultural society. Our general music classroom provides each child with the skills necessary to meet these challenges by promoting skill development through singing, playing, listening, reading, valuing, moving and performing. These opportunities allow every student to acquire a lifelong appreciation of music. Every year, each grade level presents one major performance to showcase the skills that they have acquired and for family and friends to enjoy.
