My name is Trudy Tilton. I grew up in Western Kansas as an only child in a small town called WaKeeney, where my parents still live. I currently live in De Soto. I enjoy working in my garden growing flowers and vegetables. For fun I like to go to garage sales and spend time with family and friends. I earned my BSE in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Emporia State University in 1992. I worked in childcare for 4 ½ years in Topeka and then taught kindergarten for 3 years in Hoyt, KS for the Royal Valley School District. I moved to the Kansas City area in 2000 after getting married to Dustin and taught Head Start Preschool for 5 years for the Olathe School District. In February 2005, I had a son and stayed at home with him for 2 years. I started teaching kindergarten at Spring Hill Elementary in the fall of 2007 and really enjoy helping young children grow and learn.
