"Quarters" for Kindness
|
| Spring Hill Elementary School was very concerned about our
national tragedy on September 11, 2001. Student Council
came up with a project to help reach
the communities in need. In order to show we care, Student
Council provided an opportunity for every Colt to contribute to
the Red Cross Relief Fund by bringing at least a quarter.
Students could contribute as many quarters as they liked for one
week (September 17th through the 21st). Every student donating at
least a quarter signed a banner with a large U.S. Flag to send along with
our donation to the Red Cross. We are proud to say that
Spring Hill Colts raised $853.25! Can you guess how many
