Colt
"Quarters" for Katrina
|
| Spring Hill Elementary School was very concerned about our
national tragedy in the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina. Student Council
came up with a project to help reach children in need.
In order to show we care, Student
Council provided an opportunity for every Colt to contribute to
Children's Mercy Hospital who welcomed several families that were
in need of medical attention for their children after this
horrible hurricane. Students were asked to bring
quarters that they could spare.
Students could contribute as many quarters as they liked for two weeks,
until September 23rd. We are proud to say that
Spring Hill Colts raised $2000.00 Can you guess how many
quarters that was? Answer
here.
