For December, in honor of the season of
giving, the Spring Hill Elementary Student Council sponsored
a teddy bear drive. We were hoping to obtain enough teddy
bears to deliver to area hospital, fire stations, and police
stations. These workers often give teddy bears to children
in order to comfort them in a time of need. We all know
how comforting it is to hug our own teddy bear. The teddy bear train
arrived in the library December 9th and will departed on December
13th. After boarding teddy bears on our train for one week
we counted 300 teddy bear passengers. Thank you to all of
the students who donated a teddy bear to help comfort other
children. SHES is the Best! |

Our Teddy Bear Train on the first day of boarding
passengers. It was already filling up, but there was still
room for a few more onboard!

| Our Teddy Bear Train completely overflowing on the last day
before departing. We had over 300 passengers on board!
We are all looking forward to fun and loving homes and many hugs
from other children. |
