Spring Hill High School Choir

Welcome to Choral Music at Spring Hill High School.  We base our program upon two simple tenets:

1. Music is for everyone!
2. All students can benefit from a choral curriculum based upon the National Music Standards:
   1. Singing, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music
   2. Playing instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music
   3. Improvising melodies and variations
   4. Composing and arranging music
   5. Reading and notating music
   6. Listening to, analyzing and describing music
   7. Evaluating music and music performed
   8. Understanding relationships between music, other arts and disciplines outside the arts
   9. Understanding music in relation to history and culture
