Monday, Oct. 16 to Thursday, Oct.
19 The PTO and
Scholastic Book Fairs will hold a book fair in the SHMS Library,
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 13th to the 16th
during school hours. The book fair will also be held during Parent/Teacher
Conferences on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 15th and 16th.
Parents, guardians, grandparents, siblings and friends are
invited to attend! If
you come during school hours, please remember to check in at the
office and get a visitor’s badge before coming to the fair. Scholastic will
be providing a wonderful selection of hardbound and paperback books.
There will be new releases, award-winning children’s books
as well as classics and great nonfiction books.
The fair will also include bookmarks, educational activity
books, sudoku puzzle books and more.
This will be a perfect time for students to get some reading
materials to keep those brilliant minds sharp and active the year
round. Normally 50 to
60% of the fair profits will be given back, in the form of books, to
the SHMS library collection. Thanks
