Jean Timberlake3rd Gradetimberlake@usd230.orgMy name is Jean Timberlake. I have been teaching in the Spring Hill School District since 1971. I have taught first through fourth grade and am currently teaching 3rd grade at SHIS. I received both my
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Emporia State University in Emporia,
Kansas. My major was elementary education with an emphasis in art. My
Master’s degree was in the area of reading curriculum. I have served on numerous curriculum committees in our
district. I have also been selected to attend various district technology
institutes. I have held two offices in our education association and worked
on negotiations several times. My interests include soccer (both playing – to help relieve stress, and attending the Kansas City Attack indoor soccer games), crafts, skiing (which I don’t get to do as often as I would like), and traveling. I also like to spend time with my family, especially my three great nieces and one great nephew. One of my favorite places to visit is Colorado.
